A Unique Combination of Distillation: Ketel One achieves its celebrated smoothness through a unique combination of modern and traditional distilling techniques:

  • 100% European Wheat: The vodka is crafted from the finest, carefully selected European wheat for a soft, pure foundation.
  • Column & Pot Still Distillation: A portion of the wheat spirit is re-distilled in small batches using traditional copper pot stills, including the original Pot Still #1. This pot-still spirit, known as the “ultra-wheat spirit,” is then blended with the master column-still distillate to create a vodka with a uniquely smooth, full-bodied character.

Every batch is personally tasted and approved by a member of the Nolet family before it can be called Ketel One, ensuring it meets their exacting standards.
