A Tale of Two Stills: Hendrick’s is uniquely distilled in the tiny seaside village of Girvan, Scotland. Its peculiar flavour is the result of a masterful marriage between two entirely different types of spirit, produced in two very rare and different stills:

• The Bennett Still: A traditional copper pot still from 1860, which steeps the botanicals to produce a rich, complex, and robust spirit.
• The Carter-Head Still: An exceptionally rare still from 1948, which gently steams the botanicals in a basket atop its lofty neck, yielding a lighter, more delicate, and floral spirit.

By combining the spirits from these two stills, the Master Distiller, Ms. Lesley Gracie, creates a divinely smooth gin with both profound depth and a delightful lightness.

An Infusion of Rose and Cucumber: What truly sets Hendrick’s apart is its final, signature infusion. After distillation, the spirit is lovingly infused with the essences of Damask Rose and, most famously, specially selected cucumbers. This final flourish completes the gin, adding a floral and crisp dimension that creates its signature, rounded flavour.
