It is the perfect choice for sharing with friends, celebrated for its smooth, rich, and mellow flavour that can be enjoyed by all.
A Legacy of Family Craft: The Grant’s story began in 1887 when William Grant, along with his seven sons and two daughters, built the Glenfiddich Distillery by hand. To this day, Grant’s remains family-owned, staying true to its founder’s original vision and motto, “Stand Fast.” This commitment to tradition and quality is what makes Grant’s one of the world’s best-loved Scotch whiskies.
The Triple Wood Difference: The secret to Grant’s signature smoothness and depth lies in its innovative Triple Wood process. The whisky is aged in three distinct types of oak casks, each contributing a unique layer of flavour:
- Virgin Oak Cask: Provides a robust spiciness.
- American Oak Cask: Lends a subtle, vanilla smoothness.
- Refill Bourbon Cask: Imparts a brown sugar sweetness and a richer character.
Once matured, the whiskies from these three casks are expertly blended together by the Master Blender to create a perfectly balanced and consistently smooth final spirit.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Complex and clean with inviting notes of ripe pear and summer fruits.
- Palate: A beautifully balanced taste with hints of vanilla sweetness, malty notes, and light floral fragrances.
- Finish: A long and satisfyingly sweet finish with just a delicate suggestion of smoke.
The Perfect Serve: Grant’s Triple Wood is incredibly versatile and made for mixing. Its smooth character makes it the ideal base for a classic Whisky & Cola or a refreshing Whisky & Ginger Ale, garnished with a lime wedge. It is also smooth enough to be enjoyed simply on the rocks.
